Welcome to the North Dakota School for the Deaf/Resource Center (NDSD/RC) website. NDSD/RC is a division of the Department of Public Instruction, Kirsten Baesler, State Superintendent, and is located in Devils Lake, ND with offices in Grand Forks, Fargo, Bismarck, Underwood, and Minot.
Purpose
To develop, coordinate, and maintain a comprehensive continuum of services for all citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing (infants through senior citizens).
Mission
To serve as a State Resource Center to provide advocacy, leadership, and educational expertise for all individuals in North Dakota who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Deaf Awareness Week is a time to celebrate the wonderous ways Deaf people and American Sign Language add to the beauty of our world. Imagine all the ways this group of students and our Deaf staff will add to our lives and our world!
